How do bank holidays affect payday?

Payrolls and direct deposits do not process on Federal bank holidays.  

If a bank holiday falls on or between the day you run payroll and pay your employees, you will need to run payroll one business day earlier than planned. We will send you an email reminder to run payroll early if your company is impacted by an upcoming bank holiday.
