Release Notes for September 2024

Enhancements

1. New Deductions Report: The Benefits Report has been changed to Deductions Report. The deductions report includes all deductions, benefits, garnishments that are in the payroll.
2. Show All Federal Tax Settings on the Paystub If Applicable: All federal tax settings are now displayed on the paystub if applicable, just like the state taxes.
3. Add a New Question to the Off Cycle & Termination Payroll Configuration: In Payroll > Review & Submit Payroll, for Off Cycle and Termination Payroll, when the Admin clicks “submits payroll”, a pop up displays the question - “Would you like your checks printed and next day delivery by Symply?”  - Yes or No. When the Admin selects “Yes”, then the system prints the payroll automatically, and if the Admin selects “No”, the system does not print the payroll.
4. Delivery Service Notification: For pay check delivery, the Admin with the Delivery Notification toggled on, now receives an email notification with the tracking number for the delivery service.
5. Email Notification After Assigning a Role to an Existing User: When the Admin assigns a new role to an existing user in the company, the existing user now receives an email notification.
6. Reset Employee Password: The Admin is able to reset an employee's password from their profile, after the employee has already signed into their account.

Bug Fixes

1. Accrual balances for the employee profile and the time off report do not match
2. Incorrect Amounts for SUI Wage Base
